Every successful journey begins with the right people.TasksAs a member of the senior leadership team, the role exists to develop a successful strategy for the business and lead the deployment of plans to achieve that strategy in the quality, safety, training & environment team.Lead the organisation's quality strategy and promote a proactive compliance and safety culture.Ensure full compliance with regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements, maintaining all approvals, certifications and licences.Liaise with authorities, customers, auditors and LHT central quality teams to align processes and standards.Oversee Quality & Safety Management Systems, audits, KPIs, findings and corrective actions.Manage inspection, testing, documentation control and staff authorisations for all repair activities.Ensure compliance for new processes, equipment and product phase-outs.Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, CAPA and digital solutions.Lead, coach and develop the Quality team, ensuring competence and training.Handle customer complaints, non-conformances and warranty issues.Manage the department budget effectively.RequirementsTo excel in this role, the ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with strong technical and regulatory expertise, demonstrating leadership and the ability to develop high-performing teams. Success will require problem-solving skills, a focus on root cause analysis, and the ability to manage customer relationships effectively. We are looking for someone results-oriented, detail-focused, and capable of making sound decisions while driving continuous improvement.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Aerospace, or related fieldMinimum 10 years' experience in working in the aviation industry, ideally in a quality & EHS capacity in the MRO sectorGood understanding of aviation and related regulatory requirements including but not limited to Part 145, CFR 145 and other international standards.Good knowledge of Safety Management Systems.Experience in managing audits, regulatory inspections, and maintaining organizational approvals.Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.ContactViktoria Haigney
