RSM Ireland is expanding its Outsourcing department and seeks an experienced Director to join our dynamic team. As a senior member of the department, you will oversee a significant portfolio of clients, drive business development, and deliver high-quality assignments while ensuring a superior client and talent experience. This role offers strong opportunities for career progression to Partner level.
The Outsourcing team provides services to help businesses manage their financial and accounting operations more effectively. Our solutions aim to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and allow businesses to focus on core activities. Services typically offered include:
* Accounting and Financial Reporting: Outsourced accounting services, including bookkeeping, management accounts, and preparation of financial statements; tailored solutions to meet reporting requirements of various industries and clients.
* Payroll Services: End-to-end payroll processing with compliance, reporting, tax filings, and assistance with employee benefits.
* Financial Planning and Analysis: Budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting to support decision making; strategic insights to improve financial performance.
* Corporate Secretarial Services: Regulatory filings, corporate governance compliance, company formation, board meeting documentation, and statutory records.
* Systems Implementation and Support: Implementing accounting systems and technology solutions with ongoing support to optimise financial systems.
* Business Process Outsourcing (BPO): Outsourced finance and accounting operations to reduce costs and focus on strategic goals; streamline back-office functions.
* International Outsourcing Services: Outsourcing solutions for multi-national companies across jurisdictions, including international tax and regulatory compliance.
The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and ambitious plans for expansion in our broader Consulting Division, we are recruiting an Outsourcing Director. This position offers challenging, interesting and rewarding work in an innovative and progressive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Relationship Management: Lead a significant portfolio of key clients, ensuring high-quality assignments and advisory services within agreed timelines and budgets.
* Business Development: Drive growth through identifying and cross-selling opportunities, leading tender processes, and participating in business-winning initiatives.
* Team Leadership and Development: Manage and support a team of professionals, coaching on technical, commercial and personal development.
* Quality Assurance: Provide technical guidance to ensure assignments meet high standards of quality and professionalism.
* Performance Management: Monitor KPIs for the department and ensure objectives are met.
* Strategic Planning: Contribute to department and firm-wide initiatives for growth and continuous improvement.
* Collaboration and Leadership: Work with senior leadership and other departments to support growth of the Outsourcing and related business units.
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualifications: Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with substantial practice experience at a senior level within a Top 10 firm.
* Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading a team and delivering multiple assignments across a diverse client base.
* Client Relationship Management: Ability to build trusted client relationships and apply commercial expertise.
* Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong report writing, Excel and financial modelling skills.
* Team Player: Demonstrated leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities; focus on a collaborative work environment.
* Business Acumen: Ability to drive growth and contribute to the management and expansion of the outsourcing and advisory services business unit.
