My client based just outside the city is hiring an Accounts Assistant. This is a part time role offering 22-25 hours, which can be broken down into 5 mornings, or 3 full days.
Responsibilities:
1. Monthly invoicing and monitoring project costs and performance
2. Maintain accurate financial and administrative database records
3. Assist with month-end and year-end reporting
4. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
5. General administration, document control, and ad-hoc duties
6. Assist with payroll when required
7. Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve finance-related queries
Requirements:
8. Experience in a similar all-round finance role, ideally within construction or project-based environments.
9. Strong working knowledge of AP, AR, bank reconciliations, VAT, and month-end processes.
10. Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working autonomously.
11. Confident communicator, able to work directly with senior management
