The successful candidates will encourage the development of positive attachments through relationship building, with the overall goal of providing a therapeutic environment for children and young people.
There will be a strong emphasis on engaging young people in the programme and building rapport to support relationship development.
You will have the opportunity to work as part of a team of social care professionals to deliver robust, holistic, trauma-informed care to young people.
The Social Care Worker/Leader will be responsible for working with children and young people, household activities, administration, teamwork, professional development, health and safety.
We are accepting applications for permanent positions in Limerick.
Successful candidates will: Have a full, manual Irish driving licence. Have a minimum of 6 months experience in social care (placement experience accepted).
Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board, CORU. Hold a CORU-approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration (evidence of application required). or be eligible for registration in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board, CORU (evidence of application required).
