About Us:
Tarstone are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Bituminous Manufacture Operative to join our production team at our manufacturing facility.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient production of bituminous materials, including the operation of plant and machinery involved in the manufacturing process.
This is a key role supporting road surfacing and construction projects across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor bitumen and asphalt manufacturing equipment.
Follow production schedules and mix specifications accurately.
Ensure the quality and consistency of finished materials.
Carry out regular maintenance checks on plant machinery.
Record production data and report any faults or issues.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment.
Assist with loading materials for dispatch when required.
Requirements:
Previous experience in asphalt/bitumen manufacturing or a similar production environment.
Good understanding of bituminous materials and production processes.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate plant equipment safely.
Strong awareness of health and safety in an industrial setting.
Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Flexibility to work shifts or extended hours depending on production demands.
Salary: Depending on experience and knowledge.
FOOTNOTE: Due to the office location, and lack of local public transport links, own reliable transport is essential for this role.
