Conference & Events Supervisor
Location: Mount Wolseley Hotel, Mountwolseley, Tullow
A fantastic opportunity to join the team at Mount Wolseley Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort as Conference & Events Supervisor.
Responsibilities

Supervise Conference & Events operations.
Knowledge of menu content, menu changes, and promotional activities.
Ensure all Team Members are impeccably presented and adhere to the correct uniform standards.
Evaluate the performance of the Team ensuring the highest standards of service are always given.
Set‑up of the functions/events in accordance with the pre‑determined standards of the operation.
Ensure the Conference & Events areas are kept clean and tidy.
Assist management with training of team members.
Ability to multitask and take on extra responsibilities when required.
Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
Must be flexible and willing to work in other F&B Departments when required to meet the needs of the business.
Actively train and develop the team and ensure all team members are fully signed off on all SOP training.
Be proactive and give input into events and improvements within the department.
Assist management with staff appraisals, disciplinaries and interviews.
Be available for a variety of shifts, including early, late and weekends.

Health & Safety Duties

Fulfil obligations under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1989 and any revisions or additional legislation.
Ensure that reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other persons on the premises.
Keep work areas tidy and safe and report any hazard, loss or damage to management.
Be aware of trained first‑aid personnel on the premises and the location of the first aid box.
Observe all safety rules and procedures, including those laid down in the Health & Safety Statement.
Carry out and promote fire and accident/other safety drills as directed by the hotel safety officer.
Participate in all Health and Safety training scheduled for you and your team.
Inform Management immediately if you are personally involved in any accident or incident on the hotel grounds or if you are a witness to an accident or incident involving a third party.
