Job Description:
Clover Hill Food Ingredients is seeking a licensed Rigid Truck Driver (Class C licence) responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers. Join our dynamic team in Millstreet, operating out of two warehouses with a fleet of six trucks distributing across Ireland. Your responsibilities will include driving, maintaining trucks, planning routes, and coordinating with dispatchers.
* Drive long distances for goods delivery.
* Perform multi-drop chill and ambient deliveries.
* Load and unload cargo.
* Record cargo deliveries.
* Refuel and wash trucks weekly.
* Report road incidents.
* Follow traffic laws and safety procedures.
* Inspect trucks and report issues via app.
* Follow accident procedures.
* Maintain activity logs and hours.
* Report mechanical issues.
* Plan routes using GPS.
* Ensure timely delivery to customers.
* Maintain positive customer relations.
* Keep driver license up to date.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Class C driver license
* CPC Licence
* Current Tachograph card
* At least 1 year of driving experience
* Clean driving record
