Post Title: Student Recruitment Manager Post Status: Full time, Permanent Contract Location: Dublin Reports to: Group Commercial Director Job Summary The Student Recruitment Manager will lead and develop our recruitment team across the Hibernia College Group, covering Education, Health Sciences, and Professional Development.
The role requires a people and relationship-focused individual who can inspire and coach a team while building meaningful connections with prospective learners.
Success in this role depends on strong analytical skills, a passion for CRM management and data hygiene, and the ability to design and optimise recruitment processes.
A learner-first mindset is essential, alongside a consultative selling style that supports individuals in making the right educational choices.
An educational or training background, combined with commercial drive, will ensure the Student Recruitment Manager delivers growth while maintaining the highest standards of care and professionalism.
You will develop, design and implement commercial enrolment plans and campaigns to support the annual recruitment targets.
You will be responsible for monitoring and tracking campaign performance working with digital marketing, enrolment and admissions teams through regular meetings and engagement to drive best practice.
You will train and mentor your team to optimise performance and their continued development in their roles.
You will drive the alignment of all sales and marketing channels and the development of our CRM automation and data insights to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
The ideal candidate is an experienced sales manager who is equally skilled at motivating people, managing systems, and aligning recruitment practices with the mission of empowering learners through education.
Key Responsibilities Planning and delivery Develop and own the sales plan and targets for all programmes across the group Deliver a coordinated annual campaign plan with the digital marketing team to deliver against the business plan, while also aligning with the key stakeholders to ensure shared ownership and clarity across the college.
Focus on optimsing performance and improving processes to maximise the best use of our resources and use of data and insight to deliver the best results, across all sales and marketing touchpoints.
Manage the sales funnel/dashboard and key metrics to generate leads, sales and opportunities, with a persistent focus on performance improvement and innovation Embed a quality-first recruitment culture, balancing performance metrics with learner satisfaction.
Team Leadership Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing student recruitment team.
Establish clear daily, weekly, and monthly enrolment and conversion targets for the team.
Provide ongoing coaching, performance reviews, and professional development.
Lead by example - support complex or high-value learner enrolments when required.
Quality Metrics & Compliance Monitor quality metrics such as enquiry-to-application conversion, application accuracy, and learner satisfaction.
Use data to inform the investment, profiling and identification of the most effective allocation of resources and to derive continuous learning and improvement in our recruitment planning and activation.
Assess and anaylse best practice and competitor activities to enable benchmarking and innovation in our planning and development of our recruitment campaigns Audit recruitment interactions (calls, emails, CRM notes) to ensure professionalism and compliance.
Ensure all recruitment activities comply with data protection, sector regulations, and accreditation standards.
Collaborate with student success teams to create a seamless learner journey from enquiry to enrolment.
CRM & Automation Review our current CRM operations and capabilities to identify any quick wins or quick fixes.
Manage and optimise CRM workflows to improve recruitment efficiency and pipeline visibility.
Implement lead scoring and automated workflows to ensure timely follow-up.
Build dashboards and reports for senior management to track team and individual performance.
Introduce automation triggers for lead engagement, task assignments, and pipeline management.
Develop a strategy to build an alumni strategy driven by CRM to enhance our relationship and support future opportunity development and market insight.
Explore the development of market segmentation to enhance market intelligence and profiling to enhance our communications and recruitment strategy.
Continue to develop the propensity modelling across the group to inform and improve how we engage with potential students in the most effective and efficient way based on data insights and modelling.
Email & Learner Engagement Develop and oversee automated learner nurture journeys tailored to each school (Education, Health Sciences, Professional Development).
Segment communications to match learner personas and motivations.
Monitor engagement metrics (open rates, click-throughs, response rates) to refine messaging.
Ensure all communications reflect Hibernia College Group's learner-first values.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Admissions, Finance, and IT teams to ensure the enrolment process is smooth, efficient, and optimised for learners.
Collaborate with Marketing, Academic, and Student Success teams to improve lead quality, campaign effectiveness, and learner experience.
Work with external partners to design and execute recruitment strategies that expand our reach and learner pipeline.
Share learner insights across the organisation to inform strategy, process improvement, and service delivery.
Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Sales Recruitment Manager, or Team Leader with strong experience in managing a multi-channel sales environment.
Must have education or student/learner recruitment experience.
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding recruitment/enrolment targets.
Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust with prospective learners.
Experience managing CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and implementing automation workflows.
Strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven performance management.
Results-oriented, adaptable, and motivated by supporting learners to achieve their goals.
Desirable Experience in B2C recruitment or sales within higher education, training, or professional accreditation.
Knowledge of compliance-driven environments such as higher education or regulated sectors.
Experience leading recruitment strategies across multiple schools, faculties, or business units.
