Surface Maintenance Coordinator Role
We are seeking a skilled Surface Maintenance Coordinator to ensure the upkeep of our surface facilities and adhere to strict EHSQ regulations.
This critical role involves monitoring site conditions, overseeing contractor performance, and ensuring compliance with defined scopes of work.
You will play a key part in delivering efficient and effective site and operational services by coordinating contractors and aligning with management directives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Coordinating contracts for site surface maintenance activities.
* Managing concentrate transport logistics and contract compliance.
* Overseeing all site services and contractor performance.
* Supporting departmental budgeting and financial planning.
* Participating in procurement of equipment and services.
* Leading and supporting site improvement projects and initiatives.
* Attending and contributing to management meetings.
* Maintaining digital systems for contracts and safety.
* Tracking contractor KPIs and service performance metrics.
* Promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility on site.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A recognized degree or diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
* Qualifications in Business, Operations, or technical fields also accepted.
* Technical or industrial safety certification is highly advantageous.
* Training in maintenance, production, or project management beneficial.
* Strong IT literacy with digital systems experience preferred.
* Minimum 5 years in operations or facilities management.
* Proven contractor, compliance, and project coordination experience.
About the Position
This full-time position involves working Monday to Friday, 7.5 hour days, with on-call weekend cover required as part of a team roster.
