The Senior Meat Industry Executive will lead a skilled butchery team and maintain high standards of meat preparation, presentation, and customer service. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, stock, quality control, leading and mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

The Senior Meat Industry Executive will be responsible for the overall success of the butchery department.
Butchery Operations
Ensure the front of house is stocked and well maintained at all times. Oversee butchery operations, including cutting, trimming, deboning, and preparing meat products according to customer specifications. Maintain product quality, freshness, and presentation. Properly inventory levels, manage ordering, and reduce waste.
Develop and implement butchery procedures and standards to improve efficiency and quality.
Customer Service
Interact with customers to provide expert advice, recommendations, and exceptional service. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally. Assist with special customer requests, such as custom cuts or bulk orders.
Health & Safety Compliance
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety and hygiene standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Manage and oversee the maintenance of all butchery equipment to ensure it is in safe and working order.
Sales & Financial Performance
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets. Analyze sales data and adjust product offerings based on customer demand and trends. Work with senior management to develop promotional strategies and special offers. Complete monthly stock takes and submit accurate reports.
