Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Group Head of Health, Safety and Environment to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives across our client's multiple sites, including manufacturing plants, construction projects, and office environments.
This role will drive compliance, implement best practices, and develop a culture of safety. Our ideal candidate has 5+ years' experience in a senior Health, Safety and Environmental role with culture change experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and manage HSE policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and ISO 45001 standards.
* Conduct audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
* Deliver safety training and mentor teams to enhance HSE awareness.
* Lead initiatives to reduce accidents and improve workplace wellbeing.
* Act as the primary HSE contact, providing expert guidance to leadership.
Requirements:
* Master's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety Management, or Engineering.
* NEBOSH Certificate (General or Construction) & IOSH Managing Safely.
* Strong knowledge and experience of HSE legislation, risk management, and audits.
* Experience in training, coaching, and implementing wellbeing initiatives.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
