Transport Manager
Location: Cork. Package: €Neg DOE. Type: Full-time | Permanent | Office Based.
Responsible for the efficient planning, coordination, and management of all transport and warehouse operations. Ensure full compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and customer service requirements. Drive operational performance, cost efficiency, and team productivity across the department.
Responsibilities
Plan and oversee daily transport, logistics, and warehouse operations.
Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and operational requirements.
Manage staff scheduling, performance, and operational workload distribution.
Oversee customer service, resolving issues and maintaining service levels.
Control costs, including subcontractors, fuel, maintenance, and staffing efficiency.
Support customs documentation processes and ensure smooth import/export flow where required.
Qualifications
Experience in transport, logistics, or warehouse management roles.
Strong knowledge of transport compliance (WTD, Tachograph, H&S, DG).
Experience in operational planning and resource allocation.
Customs/import‑export knowledge is highly desirable.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good commercial awareness and problem‑solving ability.
