We combine heritage craft with modern retail, offering awardwinning food, beautiful design, and a memorable customer experience.Role PurposeThe Online Fulfilment Manager is responsible for the daytoday operational performance of Avoca's Online business. This role ensures that online orders are fulfilled efficiently, safely, and to Avoca's quality standards, while supporting commercial targets and delivering a seamless customer experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership:Lead daily online fulfilment operations, ensuring orders are processed accurately, on time, and to quality standards.Manage NonFood Retail, Food Retail and Food Hall fulfilment activities.Maintain compliance across Food Safety, Health & Safety, and audit standards.Process & Performance Management:Implement efficient operational routines and continuous improvement initiatives.Oversee inventory accuracy, stock rotation, ordering schedules, goods in/out, and EPOSbased stock control.Monitor workflow, capacity, storage solutions, and equipment to optimise performance.Collaboration:Work with Food Safety, Health & Safety, Marketing, Buying, Supply Chain, Business Excellence, Procurement and Facilities teams.Partner with crossfunctional teams to support product availability and customer service excellence.People Leadership:Support, motivate, and develop the fulfilment team.Ensure clear communication of Avoca's mission, values, and operational standards.Commercial Accountability:Support P&L delivery, cost control, and commercial targets.Maintain documentation and reporting for operational and regulatory compliance.General Responsibilities:Manage stock counts and stock room organisation.Maintain a safe working environment.Undertake additional operational duties as required.Skills & ExperienceEssential:Proven experience in retail, logistics or multisite operations.Minimum 5 years' experience in people leadership.Strong operational management and organisational skills.Experience with budgets, P&L understanding, and reporting.Strong communication and problemsolving abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Desirable:Experience with Lean/Business Excellence methodologies.Knowledge of quality management systems or loss prevention.
