As a Senior Data Analyst, you will join the Business Intelligence Centre of Excellence and lead the Marketing BI Team, delivering high quality BI products, ensuring excellent user interaction, and documentation to enable crucial business decisions. You will work closely with our marketing business partners to understand their business goals and lead the design and development of BI solutions to support their business strategy. You will deliver these solutions with the support of a dedicated development team and guidance from the BI Centre of Excellence.
The team is part of a wider Data Strategy and Analytics group, giving you access to leading‑edge tools for ideation, data processing, and visualisation. What you bring is the enthusiasm to understand business problems and the tenacity to solve them using your data visualisation skills.
This position follows a hybrid schedule with two in‑office days per week in the Dublin or Letterkenny office.
Primary Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of Business Intelligence products to support our marketing business partners
* Engage directly with marketing business partners to gather use cases and requirements, designing solutions to deliver business value within an overall BI roadmap
* Oversee and mentor data analysts to deliver BI products, ensuring they are provided support to deliver work to required quality and accuracy
* Support delivery by developing BI products
* Develop user‑friendly documentation, including user guides, to enable users to effectively use products delivered
* Provide training and act as a point of contact for stakeholders/users in relation to BI products
* Collaborate with data strategy and IT partners to enhance reporting data infrastructure
* Manage maintenance of a suite of reports related to the marketing function and deliver on‑going enhancement
Required Qualifications
* Proven experience with data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI (preferred), Tableau, Qlik, Looker, etc.
* Proven solid experience writing SQL to support BI solutions or data analysis
* Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and design solutions
* Demonstrated experience developing and owning business intelligence/reporting solutions
Preferred Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience delivering reporting solutions to support a marketing function
* Proven experience with Azure Cloud and Databricks
* Proven experience with Agile development methodology
* Proven experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
