Job Description
The Patient Engagement Capabilities group is responsible for developing strategic plans and executing initiatives to enhance clinical trial participant enrollment and retention. This involves creating dynamic, patient-facing clinical trial communications in the realms of patient recruitment and retention.
The Visual Communication Designer will produce engaging and streamlined patient communication in a graphical and multi-media format. They will design, develop, and implement digital content including static images and video/animation content to be leveraged across multiple platforms and patient audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce patient-facing clinical trial materials in an engaging, dynamic, and health literacy optimized format
* Use graphic and multi-media programs to dynamically create accurate displays of engaging patient-focused information
* Incorporate changes recommended resulting from defined feedback loops into the graphics
* Leverage and create templates, as needed, to layout and format visually appealing content
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in graphic design, visual communications, or related degree (or equivalent work experience)
* 3+ years experience in medical or health media/content development
* 1-3 years of pharma or work experience in a regulated industry
* In-depth knowledge of software design programs such as InVision, Graphpad, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Microsoft Office Suite
* Demonstrated experience building content with media authoring tools (e.g. Vyond/GoAnimate, Premier, Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia)
