We are seeking a highly organised and relationship-focused Key Account & Events Manager to lead client partnerships and oversee the successful delivery of digital and in-person medical education projects.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, managing multiple projects, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will act as the key point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard while identifying opportunities to strengthen and grow existing partnerships.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work closely with the leadership team and gain valuable exposure to the strategic and operational aspects of a fast-growing business within the healthcare education sector.
Key Responsibilities
Key Account Management & Client Relations
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building trusted, long-term relationships.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery.
Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and support revenue growth through client retention and partnership development.
Prepare proposals, project plans, and client presentations as required.
Maintain accurate client records and activity through HubSpot CRM.
Develop strong relationships with sponsors, healthcare professionals, and industry stakeholders.
Event & Project Management
Lead the planning and execution of online and in-person medical education events.
Coordinate timelines, deliverables, budgets, and communications across multiple projects.
Liaise with speakers, sponsors, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
Provide support during live events, including moderation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management.
Ensure all post-event deliverables, reporting, recordings, and CPD documentation are completed accurately and on schedule.
Operational Oversight
Coordinate with internal and external partners responsible for technical delivery, design, content development, and event production.
Monitor project progress using Trello and ensure deadlines and milestones are achieved.
Conduct quality checks to ensure all materials and deliverables meet client expectations and brand requirements.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and client experience.
Work closely with the CEO and leadership team on business planning and strategic initiatives.
Support and mentor colleagues where appropriate, promoting best practice in client management and event delivery.
Foster strong collaboration across departments to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
About You
Experience in Key Account Management, Client Services, Event Management, Project Management, or a similar client-facing role.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Commercially aware with the ability to identify account growth opportunities.
Confident communicator with strong presentation and problem-solving skills.
Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot and project management tools such as Trello.
Experience within healthcare, medical education, events, digital media, or professional services would be advantageous.
