Job Opportunity
This is a permanent part-time position in the Endoscopy Unit involving collaboration with a team of nurses to provide high-quality patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
* Equipment management, including endoscopy monitors, Dinamaps, suction apparatus, diathermy machines, light source, and photographic printer.
* Ensuring the updating of the Endoscopy register and entering patient details into the Endoscopy machine.
* Optimizing safe and economic use of supplies.
* Stock management at ward level and accessing/ordering stock during work and out-of-work hours.
* Assisting anaesthetists and consultants with drug preparation and checks.
Essential Qualifications
* Registration as a Registered General Nurse with the relevant nursing authority.
* Previous Endoscopy Qualification desirable.
* At least 1 year's post-registration experience essential.
* Ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
