I'm currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a small team within one of Europe's largest food manufacturers. This role is suitable for experienced Maintenance Managers seeking a change, as well as Maintenance Technicians or Engineers ready to take the next step in their career.
Brief role description:
Manage and organise a mechanical and electrical maintenance team of 6.
Manage the maintenance (mechanical and electrical) function of a busy PLC
controlled production process.
Organise preventative maintenance routines to optimise plant performance and limit
plant breakdowns to avoid production time loss.
In event of equipment breakdown oversee repairs to ensure out of production hours
are minimised.
Record keeping of plant maintenance systems.
Monitor plant equipment spares, cost and order replacements as required.
Manage and organise plant alterations and equipment installations.
Brief role requirements:
A good working knowledge of industrial equipment to include drive gearboxes and
motors, positive displacement and centrifugal pumps, pneumatics, steam raising
plants, hydraulics, VSD's etc.
Understanding of PLC process controls.
A proven track record in the role of Maintenance Manager or several years of hands-on experience in the Maintenance field and ready to take the next step in your career.
Good communications and organisational skills.
Trade based qualification as a minimum.
