Responsibilities
* Develop and implement CNC EDM programs derived from technical drawings and specifications to achieve optimal machining results.
* Set up, calibrate, and operate EDM machines, including both wire and sinker EDM equipment.
* Monitor and adjust machining processes as necessary to maximize efficiency and ensure adherence to quality standards.
* Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments to verify compliance with specifications.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address challenges and identify opportunities for process enhancements.
* Document production data meticulously, including machining time, part counts, and any deviations.
* Uphold safety and quality standards consistently throughout the machining process.
* Continuously update knowledge of EDM technology and best practices in precision machining.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience as a CNC EDM Programmer or in a similar role within a precision manufacturing environment.
* In-depth knowledge of EDM processes, programming methodologies, and CNC machine operations.
* Ability to interpret and analyze complex technical drawings and specifications accurately.
* Familiarity with programming software relevant to EDM machining.
* Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality components.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Experience with quality management practices and ISO certification is advantageous.
