Executive Head Chef - Ireland 5* Hotel
My client, a small Luxury 5* Hotel in Ireland, is seeking an experienced Executive Head Chef to join their team. The successful applicant will have a strong background in Luxury 5* Hotels or Michelin Standard Fine Dining Restaurants. You will oversee the day-to-day culinary operations, including training, supervising staff, and monitoring food quality. They are looking for a hands-on, proactive manager capable of leading and motivating a team of talented chefs with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar senior role.
The Candidate:
* Previous experience in a similar senior role in a Luxury 5* Hotel or Michelin Standard Fine Dining Restaurant environment.
* A team player, excellent staff developer, and an innovative team leader.
* Understanding of wage forecasts, rosters, monthly stock control, budgeting, team training, cost control management, and HACCP.
* Ability to deliver exceptional food consistently and maintain high standards.
* Ambitious and responsible for creating an environment that promotes employee morale and pride.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks, including volume production, with attention to detail and presentation.
* Stay up to date with the latest culinary trends.
* Ensure that the outlet's operational budgets are in line with cost control measures.
