**Job Title:** Facilities Maintenance Specialist
The role of the Facilities Maintenance Specialist is a vital component in ensuring the overall site utility operations, maintenance, planning, and energy management systems run smoothly.
This position requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and hands-on ability to work with complex machinery, systems, and other teams.
* Maintenance and Repair:
* Perform regular PM & CAL's on equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery in line with EHS guidelines.
Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
* Installation and Setup:
* Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and EU safety standards.
Calibrate and test new machinery to guarantee proper operation.
* Troubleshooting:
* Identify and diagnose issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools
Develop and implement solutions to resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently.
* Documentation:
* Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work, including parts used and time spent on each task.
Prepare reports on equipment performance and suggest improvements.
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical leadership on equipment build-related issues.
Work closely with design and manufacturing engineering teams to ensure that the equipment is built according to specifications and is properly handed over to commissioning or manufacturing.
Qualifications:
An associate degree or technical diploma in mechanical engineering, electronics, industrial maintenance, or a related field is required. A bachelor's degree is preferred for more advanced roles.
Proven experience as an equipment technician or similar role is essential. Experience in mold maintenance and supporting high-volume manufacturing environments is also beneficial.
