Role Title: Product Consultant
Role Location: Dublin or Kilkenny Hybrid

Vhi Multiline is the no. 1 provider of Travel, Dental and International insurance in Ireland and more recently a competitive player in Life insurance. With the strong backing of Vhi Group, Multiline is embarking on a major growth strategy in both existing and new product lines which requires growing the Multiline Development team. The team has a full time permanent vacancy for the role of Product Consultant on a hybrid basis based in either Dublin or Kilkenny. The product consultant will assist in managing and driving profitable growth in existing product lines as well as investigating new opportunities. You will play a key role in the delivery of commercial activities working closely with sales, marketing, customer service, finance etc.
Role Purpose:
* Drive commercial results through delivery of product development initiatives
* Manage product performance, develop opportunities and identify solutions to issues that arise
* Coordinate and support the design and delivery of product developments for new and existing product lines, working with the Product, Sales, Marketing, and Underwriting teams
* Work closely with both internal & external stakeholders to ensure timely implementation and operational roll-out of priority initiatives
* Manage relationships with external product partners
* Drive product innovation plans and ensure new developments are based on strong customer and market insights
* Input into competitor analysis including product/benefit comparisons, pricing, service offering changes, SWOT analysis
* Support Commercial Manager in design and delivery of product strategy
* Understand customer pain points and help drive solutions, coordinating with the Multiline Voice of the Customer workstream
* Document business processes and customer journeys, gathering content to ensure our products are supported by robust and efficient operational processes
* Ensure products are compliant, fit for purpose and address the needs of key segments

Education & Experience
* Third level qualification or 2+ years’ experience in relevant field
* Strong analytical, problem solving and research skills to assist in development and implementation of priority initiatives
* Proven ability to work effectively as part of cross-functional teams with significant stakeholder management requirements
* Results orientated with the proven ability to take decisions quickly when necessary and the resilience to be challenged
