Job Title

Avoiding Facilities Department, our Graduate Engineer will assist project management and mechanical engineering activities for new capital projects. This full-time role is based in Limerick.

About the Role

We seek a motivated Graduate Engineer to support project planning, execution, and management. This involves providing mechanical engineering expertise for facility upgrades and new installations. The successful candidate will utilize AutoCAD for designing and drafting mechanical systems. They will liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure project requirements are met. Additionally, they will assist with meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to find timely business solutions. Site inspections and compliance with safety and quality standards are also key aspects of this role. Furthermore, the Graduate Engineer will analyze project data and provide detailed reports to management. They will also assist with developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets. Moreover, they will coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless project integration. Identifying and mitigating potential project risks including EHS is crucial. Finally, the Graduate Engineer will support the preparation of technical documentation and specifications. They will also assist in the procurement of materials and equipment.

Requirements

We require a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD is also essential. Strong analytical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities are necessary. The ideal candidate will be proactive and self-motivated. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
