A leading progressive Food Retailer with a chain of shops across Leinster is hiring for a Deli Manager in one of their busy forecourt shops, located 5 minutes walk from Drogheda town.
You will be responsible for leading a team of 3-5 staff within the department, mainly working early shifts, until 3 or 4pm.This job will require a manager who has an supervising and fresh food experience and thrives on being busy, leading with a hands-on style of management, can do attitude. Salary will be dictated based on suitable candidates' experience, between 34,000 -36,000 a year, 43 hour contract.This is a busy operation, very fast paced, lots of footfall both during the week and weekends, you will be required to work Saturday's however Sunday's are typically off.Salary will DOE, 35,000 -38, hour contract The ideal candidate for this Deli Manager Job:
* Previous management experience working with fresh food, ordering stock, accountable for waste, profits and budgets, 1- 2 years Supervisor, senior deli staff member or manager will be considered.
* Excellent customer service
* Strong organisational skills, a good communicator, can work with people, and motivate teams under you
* Be able to work both in a team and on own initiative, good problem-solving abilities, thrive on pressure
* Excellent understanding of food safety and HACCP management, passing audits etc
Responsibilities for this Deli Manager Job:
* Oversee the running of a busy deli, bakery, coffee dock, kitchen area, and seating area.
* Responsible for up to 5 staff members, organising the workload, directing work, and ensuring tasks are completed correctly.
* Proper management of stock ordering
* Correct management of hygiene and HACCP records
* Maintaining the standards in line with company policies.
* Responsible for ensuring your team is trained to a high level following company protocol
