Nursing Quality Assurance Manager Position South East Region
This pivotal role involves leading and supporting quality, compliance, and governance across a group of nursing homes in the South East region.
The successful candidate will work closely with Persons in Charge (PICs) and senior management to ensure all services meet regulatory requirements and reflect the organisation's commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.
Key responsibilities include providing expert guidance to management teams on HIQA compliance and regulatory best practices, leading internal audits, developing corrective action plans, and overseeing follow-up activities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Responsibilities:
* Provide expert guidance on HIQA compliance and regulatory best practices.
* Lead internal audits and develop corrective action plans.
* Support the creation, review, and implementation of policies and procedures.
* Mentor and develop staff, promoting a culture of learning, safety, and continuous improvement.
* Oversee safeguarding practices, risk management, and incident reporting across the group.
* Analyse and report on quality metrics, contributing to organisational planning and development.
Requirements:
* Registered General Nurse with active NMBI registration.
* Postgraduate qualification in healthcare management, quality, or clinical governance.
* Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a quality, governance, or compliance role within healthcare.
* In-depth knowledge of HIQA standards and best practice in person-centred care.
* Proven expertise in audits, risk management, staff mentoring, and policy development.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
