About the Job An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join the Group Finance team based at their Dublin head office. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant looking to gain exposure to group-level finance operations, project forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting key processes including budgeting, financial close, audit, and business partnering. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and KPI commentary Support financial forecasting, quarterly and annual budget processes Partner with commercial teams to manage project financials and performance tracking Coordinate the preparation of financial statements and internal reporting Lead and improve balance sheet reconciliations and working capital management Respond to audit queries and support compliance with financial regulations Deliver cash flow forecasting and review bank and creditor reconciliations Review VAT and PAYE/PRSI returns, maintain the Fixed Asset Register Oversee intercompany reconciliations and eliminations Identify process improvement opportunities for efficiency and reporting quality Skills & Experience Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) 13 years post-qualification experience (preferably in industry) Strong analytical, data analysis, and numerical skills Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial software Advanced Microsoft Excel and good proficiency in Word and PowerPoint Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and organisational skills Self-motivated, assertive, and able to work independently and collaboratively Strong time management, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities Ability to drive change and identify improvement opportunities For more information or to apply in confidence, please contact Cameron Craig at HireIQ.
