Description: We have a new opportunity for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join our Tax Advisory team in Ballsbridge and train towards their CTA qualification. The successful candidate will support partners and directors in delivering high‑quality financial reporting, tax compliance/advisory and transaction support services to owner‑managed businesses and private clients. This role will suit a technically strong professional looking to broaden their experience beyond compliance into advisory and corporate finance exposure.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review statutory financial statements for a portfolio of SME clients.
Assist in delivering corporate and personal tax compliance and advisory assignments.
Support corporate restructurings and tax‑efficient group structuring, as well as corporate recovery and insolvency projects.
Contribute to corporate finance and transaction projects, including due diligence support and financial analysis.
Assist with preparation of business plans and financial models for financing applications.
Work with solicitors on CAT / CGT / Revenue clearances for resident and non‑resident clients.
Liaise with Revenue in relation to routine compliance matters and Revenue audits.
Work closely with senior team members on succession and estate planning assignments.
Supervise and review work prepared by trainees.
Key Requirements
Recently qualified ACA (0–2 years’ PQE)
Strong grounding in Irish financial reporting and taxation
Experience working with owner‑managed businesses
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Commercially curious and motivated to develop advisory expertise
Clear communicator with good client interaction skills
Intention to secure tax qualification
Additional Requirements: The role provides structured exposure to tax advisory and transaction work, with progression toward Manager level as technical depth and client ownership competency develop.
