Head of Content, OneFabDay (Hybrid, 3 days in the office each week)An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Content to join (part of DMG Media); the most popular wedding website in Ireland and the UK.Role SummaryReporting to the Group Digital editor, the Head of Content has responsibility for editing and publishing as well as being the primary ambassador for the brand, representing OneFabDay ; presenting & producing podcasts, MCing at OneFabDay wedding events and being the weddings spokesperson for OneFabDay on national radio and television.Responsibilities include:Editing the websiteManaging a team of journalists;Generating original ideas for articles and commission features from in house writers.Editing, proofread and sub copy to ensure it is ready for publication and adheres to SEO guidelines.Selecting the best pictures.Regularly check and track content on analytics.Analyse content performance against KPIs, reporting to the Group Digital Editor.Present and produce the One Fab Day Podcast.Produce the annual One Fab Day 100 Best Guide magazine.MC One Fab Day wedding events.Implement One Fab Day brand campaigns.Create copy for the weekly One Fab Day editorial and commercial newsletters.Monitor output of social content.Manage the editorial calendar.Oversee One Fab Day social mediaBe a spokesperson for One Fab Day on national radio and television.Ensure that all published content meets a high standard and that it adheres to SEO guidelines;Attend DMG editor meetingsWork closely with the commercial and social media executive teams.Other ad hoc tasks and duties that are relevant to the role.Essential Skills & ExperienceDegree in relevant field3+ years' experience in a similar role specialising in weddings contentExperienced team and people management skillsBe proficient in Wordpress, Photoshop, SEO and Trello.Strong knowledge of social media platforms and photo editing softwareExperienced leader and manager of teamsGood knowledge of content management systemsSuccessful candidates will be deadline-orientated and used to working on their own initiative.Confident speaker & presentation skills, communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent journalism and editing skills, grammar, spelling, accuracy, attention to detail and writing skills are essential for this role.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Additional leaveBike to work schemeCompany eventsCompany pensionEmployee assistance programSick payWellness programWork from homeExperience:editing: 3 years (required)Work Location: Hybrid remote in Ballsbridge, Dublin, CO.
