AR&D Analytical Chemist -Swords, Dublin | 12-month contract | On-site CPL is seeking to recruit an experienced Analytical Chemistfor an on-site position with SK pharmteco, based at its R&D Centre in Swords, Co.
Dublin.
About the Role This role is based within the AR&D laboratories, which provide analytical expertise supporting the development and manufacture of clinical and commercial small-molecule APIs.
The Analytical Chemist will play a key role in analytical method development, transfer, validation, qualification and troubleshooting, while also supporting the daily operation and maintenance of the AR&D laboratories.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with R&D Chemistry, Operations, QA/QC, SHE and external stakeholders, ensuring compliant, right-first-time manufacturing of existing and new products.
The role may also involve mentoring junior analytical st**aff Key Responsibili**ties Analytical & Technical Activities Perform analytical testing in a timely manner to support: Manufacturing campaigns Material release R&D Chemistry lab activities (use-tests, familiarisation experiments)Stability programs Reference standard qualification Analytical investigations Supp ort analytical method development, validation, transfer and qualifica tion.
Troubleshoot analytical and instrumentation-related iss**ues.
Documentation & Compl**iance Prepare, review and exe cute analytical prot ocols.
Prepare and re view analytical re ports.
Ensure all documentation is compl eted right first time, in compliance with GMP and local proce dures.
Sup port change controls, investigations and quality e vents as requ**ired.
Laboratory & Equipment S**upport Ensure all laboratory instrumentati on is calibrated, maintained and fit f or use.
Suppor t the day-to-day running and housek eeping of the AR&D laboratories.
Ensure all req uired training is com pleted prior to task execution.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Liaise with Senior Analytical Ch emists for technical support and complex investigations.
Attend weekly team meetings and actively contribute to a high-performance, innovative and continuous improvement c ulture.
Meet regularly with the manager to discuss performance, feedback and development opportunities.
Ens ure a safe working envir onment for all laboratory pers**onnel.
Education & Ex**perience BSc or MSc in Analytical C hemistry (or equivalent).
Minimum 4 years' ex perience in analytical activities w ithin a pharmaceutical manufacturing or R&D env ironment.
Technical Skills Strong backgr ound in analytical c hemistry.
Experience workin g under FDA and EU GMP requ irements, particularly laboratory operations .
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solvin gskills.
Ability to work to tight timelines and project d eadlines.
Soft Skills Ex cellent teamwork and communicatio nskills .
Strong technical writingability.
