About the Role

We're seeking an Account Director to manage a pivotal customer account. The role can be based in Ireland or the UK.


Key Responsibilities

1. Lead customer accounts by leveraging the cross-functional team to drive best-in-class customer experience and business growth.
2. Manage customer relationships locally and globally to ensure effective relationships at all levels.
3. Develop, maintain, and convert opportunity pipelines aligned with Kerry's strategic goals.
4. Manage opportunity pipelines and key financial metrics.
5. Understand customer objectives and growth strategies and communicate insights to the internal team.
6. Identify relevant insights and needs to achieve value creation for Kerry and the customer.
7. Partner with Marketing & Applications to ensure effective engagements and growth.
8. Responsible for account planning through cross-functional collaboration and validation from the customer.
9. Demand forecasting, budget setting, and regular internal performance reporting versus targets.
10. Commercial pricing and contract management to minimize risk and deliver sustainable margins.
11. Provide competitor and market intelligence to inform business terms and service level enhancements.


Qualifications and Skills

1. Solid account management experience.
2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent as a minimum.
3. Foodservice channel experience preferred.
4. Experience managing global/strategic growth accounts essential.
5. Proven track record of delivering profitable and sustainable growth with a value creation mindset.
6. Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
7. Solutions-focused and committed to delivering best-in-class customer experience.
8. Ability to work effectively to deadlines and adapt to challenges.
9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for teamwork.
10. Skilled at building and managing multiple relationships internally and with the customer.
11. Willingness to travel regularly as part of the role.
