The person can be based in one of our operations across Europe.
Responsibilities The Role: Responsible for the Commissioning process for HVAC, Electrical and Building Envelope systems with a particular focus on the commissioning requirements to support the LEED Certification of multiple LEED projects across the various LEED rating systems.
Responsible for reviewing Owner Project Requirements (OPR's) and Basis of Design (BOD) documents to ensure they meet the intended requirements, and verifying that the program's goals are properly included in the design documents.
Prepare Commissioning Specifications and design and construction phase Commissioning Plans.
Facilitate commissioning meetings.
Review submittals, start-up sheets, RFIs and change orders for commissioned equipment and systems.
Prepare Functional Performance Test procedures, review TAB process and final TAB reports.
Prepare Final Reports and Systems Manuals to provide a comprehensive project summary to the Owner.
Support the growth of our team and assist with preparing proposals for new and existing clients.
Perform field visits to observe installation of commissioned systems and prepare field reports.
Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Other responsibilities and opportunities may include: Lead / support commissioning to meet the requirements of BREEAM certifications.
Support Design Teams with technical aspects of NZEB, Low/Net Zero Carbon/Energy Building design LEED GA or AP BD ACG's Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA); or BCA's Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) 5+ years' experience as a commissioning/energy systems consultant or related position Commissioning process experience on at least 5 building projects, preferably in the industrial sector.
The experience should extend from early design phase through into occupancy A background in facility operation and maintenance would be advantageous.
Ability to travel to work-sites as needed or required Clear and confident communication skills Project engineering / management skills, including decision making, problem solving, planning and organization, leadership and team building skills
