Duties
Under the direction of the Assessment of Need Manager, the Liaison Officer will be responsible for the processes and duties assigned to him/her within the Regional Assessment of Need Team. The post holder will:
Ensure HSE compliance with the Disability Act 2005 and subsequent regulations, by providing and reviewing Service Statements in line with the act.
Manage and support the delivery of the Assessment of Need process, as required.
Contribute to the development of processes and procedures to ensure timely, efficient delivery of Regional AON services.
Cooperate with and contribute to service improvement in areas related to the post, as required.
Liaison Officers may be involved in the planning, arranging and subsequent coordination of services using individually tailored care plans, having a person‑centred approach and a multi‑disciplinary focus, subject to statutory and service demands.
