Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled IT Manager to join our team in a key technical position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of the Arts Council's IT Strategy and the management of cloud-based server infrastructure, design through to implementation and ongoing support and maintenance in line with current best practices.
The role requires the ability to work closely with other peers, team members and staff on relevant matters particularly relating to application support and information security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, infrastructure delivery and business continuity, with experience in managing cloud-hosted and on-premises servers, storage area networks (SAN), and network-attached storage (NAS) devices.
A minimum Level 7 qualification in a relevant S.T.E.M discipline and 3 years directly related ICT hands-on experience are required. The candidate should also have a good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and experience in working in a MS Dynamics 365 cloud-based platform or a similar technology.
In addition to the core responsibilities, the role involves the end-to-end management of the Arts Council's enterprise suite of tools, ensuring that all elements are deployed and supported in accordance with best practice and updated/replaced as the industry evolves.
Other essential skills include excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage staff and provide training where necessary. A commitment to high standards of public service is also essential.
