Mechanical Quantity Surveyor Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of cost control and commercial reporting on a pharmaceutical project.
* Reviewing and certifying monthly subcontractor payment applications;
* Evaluating and negotiating subcontractor variations, reworks, and claims;
* Validating and managing dayworks and star rates per contract terms;
* Tracking and costing site instructions;
* Identifying, logging, and managing all project variations;
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* 3-5+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally on industrial or large-scale projects;
* A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (degree or equivalent);
* A strong track record in subcontractor account management and final accounts;
* An in-depth understanding of contracts such as RIAI, NEC, JCT or similar;
* Excellent knowledge of cost control and commercial processes;
* High proficiency in Excel and commercial reporting tools;
* Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills;
