About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Recon ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) team. In this pivotal role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes that support our reconciliation operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, streamline workflows, and drive continuous improvement in our data management practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines to support reconciliation processes and ensure accurate data movement across systems.
Analyze complex data sets to identify discrepancies, resolve data quality issues, and implement solutions for improved data accuracy.
Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks or failures.
Document ETL processes, data flows, and business rules to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing within the team.
Contribute to automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention in reconciliation workflows.
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in ETL, data integration, and reconciliation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in ETL development, data integration, or a similar role.
Proficiency with ETL tools (e.g., DataStage) or similar.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
Experience with reconciliation processes or financial data management is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud-based ETL solutions (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).
Familiarity with Shell scripting or other programming languages for data processing and automation.
Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and regulatory requirements in financial services.
Exposure to Agile methodologies and project management tools.
