Job summary
At Instaclustr by NetApp, we provide a fully managed data platform for open-source technologies at scale. Our mission is to help organizations leverage open-source data layer technologies like Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, etc, delivered with reliability, performance, and security. As part of NetApp, we are expanding our global reach, scaling sales efforts, and engaging with new buyer personas across enterprise and mid-market segments. We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our global team. This role is critical to our growth strategy, focusing on expanding our footprint in the enterprise and mid-market segments supporting adoption of open-source technologies. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, qualifying leads, and working closely with account executives, marketing, and technical teams to drive pipeline growth and revenue
Job requirements
* Engage with new buyer personas, understanding customer challenges related to open-source database adoption, migration, and scalability
* Support sales cycles by collaborating with account executives to develop account plans and close busines
* Proactively generate and qualify leads through outbound calling, email campaigns, and social selling techniques
* Manage and track customer interactions using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) to ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management
* Collaborate with marketing to follow up on inbound leads and execute targeted campaigns focused on key workloads and use cases
* Stay current on industry trends, particularly the global and regional adoption of open-source databases like PostgreSQL, Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, etc.
* Deliver compelling messaging that aligns with Instaclustr's value proposition for reliability, scale, and cost optimization
* Attend trade shows and industry events
Qualifications
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Basic understanding of open-source technologies or a willingness to learn rapidly
* Experience working in a cross collaboration organization
* Sales, business development, or SDR experience in the technology industry
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate basic technical concepts to non-technical audiences
* Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment
* Experience with salesforce crm.
