Onboarding & Procurement Support Officer

Role Purpose
The Onboarding & Client Success Specialist is responsible for guiding new hotel clients through the entire onboarding journey to Windward’s procurement services, ensuring smooth transition and driving long‑term client retention. The role may require occasional travel to client hotel sites for onsite training and workshops.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Onboarding
o Serve as the primary point‑of‑contact for new hotel clients from contract signing through “go‑live.”
o Coordinate cross‑functional resources and develop onboarding plans.
o Assist clients with procurement platform setup, catalog import, price lists, product mapping, user accounts, workflows, and training.
o Conduct kick‑off sessions, training workshops, and process walkthroughs.
o Monitor client progress, remove obstacles, ensure milestones are met.
o Ensure data integrity and help clients upload/migrate purchasing history, inventory lists, and standard items.
o Liaise with supplier teams for contract validation and onboarding of new suppliers.
* Client Success & Retention
o Maintain a portfolio of onboarded clients and act as their success manager.
o Establish regular check‑ins, review performance, feedback, pain points.
o Monitor engagement with the procurement platform.
o Build value cases, drive renewal conversations, coordinate with sales/account management.
o Capture and disseminate best practices and client success stories.
* Purchasing / Consumption Analysis & Insights
o Generate reports and insights from procurement/transaction data.
o Identify cost‑saving or efficiency opportunities.
o Present findings to client management and internal teams; track KPIs such as savings achieved.
o Collaborate with Analytics/BI teams to refine dashboards and reporting tools.
* Process Improvement & Best Practice
o Refine onboarding and success processes, workflows, and enablement assets.
o Benchmark against best practices in SaaS onboarding, client success, and procurement services.
o Stay current on hospitality procurement trends and competitor offerings.
Key Skills & Experience
Essential
* Experience in client onboarding, client success, account management or implementation roles, ideally in B2B/SaaS/services.
* Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple clients and cross‑functional dependencies.
* Quantitative/analytical skills for procurement or financial data.
* Customer‑centric mindset with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust.
* Problem‑solving ability to anticipate roadblocks and remove barriers.
Desirable / Preferred
* Experience or understanding of hospitality/hotel operations, F&B procurement, supply chain.
* Experience with procurement/eProcurement systems or platforms such as catalog management, ERP integration, ordering systems.
* Familiarity with procurement analytics, cost benchmarking, category management.
* Experience in supplier negotiation, contract terms, or vendor management.
* Change management or adoption experience.
* Hotel experience and knowledge of Procure Wizard are additional advantages.
