Key Responsibilities:
The role of Food and Beverage Operations Manager involves overseeing the overall performance of food and beverage outlets. This includes assessing and evaluating long-term and short-term goals, directing and managing all food and beverage activities to maximize revenue, profitability, and quality. The successful candidate will develop and execute marketing strategies, up-sell techniques, control costs, and provide quality service and products to guests.
Responsibilities Include:
* Assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of a general business plan and strategies to ensure optimum guest satisfaction, sales maximization, and profitability;
* Conducting weekly inspections of food and beverage regions to ensure the property is kept in the best condition and recommending preventive maintenance as needed;
* Planning and coordinating in-house activities and package plans with the Head Chef, Director of Sales and Marketing, and Food and Beverage Operations Manager;
* Selecting and developing strategies to improve guest service, food production techniques, and efficiency;
* Assisting in the preparation of the food and beverage business plan;
* Monitoring and ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction by providing quality guest services and products within corporate standards;
* Screens, interviews, and selects potential supervisors and team members for the department;
* Establishes and maintains effective internal communications, including daily/monthly meetings with supervisors and team members, to ensure optimum teamwork and productivity;
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience within the food and beverage sector, as well as 1-2 years of hotel management experience. A high level of flexibility is required due to the demanding nature of the role.
