HR Manager Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our client's growing organisation in South Tipperary. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will lead and manage the full spectrum of Human Resources activities on site.
This is a permanent, full-time position based entirely on-site, operating Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies aligned with operational goals, driving employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Main Point of Contact: Act as the main point of contact for all employee-related queries and concerns, contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
* Employee Relations: Manage employee relations cases including grievances, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution in line with policy and employment law.
* Employee Engagement: Support and implement employee engagement initiatives that align with business goals and values.
* Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with the talent acquisition function to manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
* Performance Management: Support the delivery of performance management processes including appraisals, development plans, and constructive feedback.
* Training and Development: Partner with department leads to identify training needs and support upskilling programs, with particular focus on operational standards and compliance.
* HR Records: Oversee accurate HR records, including employee data management, absence tracking, and HRIS updates.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and relevant employment legislation to minimise risk.
* Health and Safety: Collaborate with operational teams to maintain and promote health and safety standards across all site activities.
* Reporting: Provide regular updates and insights to senior HR leadership on key HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, training, and employee performance.
Key Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in an HR role, ideally within a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial setting.
* Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
* Skills: Proven experience in managing recruitment, employee relations, and engagement initiatives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels.
* Personal Qualities: Discreet, professional, and capable of handling sensitive HR matters with confidentiality.
* Organisation: Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant HR tools.
