Job Title: Technical Support Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our customers.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate system installations and upgrades at customer sites, working collaboratively with suppliers and operators to resolve technical issues.
* Address service-related issues at operator sites, including troubleshooting software problems, firmware upgrade, hardware troubleshooting, and providing training to customers and new operations personnel.
* Develop and maintain practices, processes, and procedures applicable to the Operations Team.
* Develop and update documentation covering all aspects of Operations Support to facilitate knowledge transfer and standardize operational support interfaces between service providers, transport operators, and relevant authorities.
* Prioritize and manage incident faults relating to vehicle equipment and relevant systems through a managed service desk.
* Support ongoing and new project initiatives implemented by relevant authorities and directorates.
Requirements:
* More than three years of experience in similar technical service environments.
* National Craft Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Automotive.
* Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
* Demonstrable ability to fault-find and troubleshoot technical issues (e.g., electrical systems).
* Systems analysis and design experience is beneficial.
* Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency using Microsoft Office.

Location:
The role will be based from our offices, but frequent off-site visits to Service Providers and end-users' premises will be required. Travel will mainly focus on the greater Dublin metropolitan area.
