About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Engineer to support packaging equipment operations in a regulated environment.
This role is ideal for early-career engineers looking to gain hands-on experience in maintenance systems, equipment support, and project work.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement equipment spare parts management systems in collaboration with maintenance teams.
* Source and identify equipment spare parts from vendors, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing downtime.
* Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Review current PM tasks and schedules to identify areas for improvement and optimize equipment uptime.
* Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
* Complete site change management activities for equipment modifications, ensuring a smooth transition.
* Support cross-functional project teams, contributing to successful project outcomes.
Requirements
* Degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline.
* Experience in technical roles, preferably in packaging equipment.
* Data analytics skills, with ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
* Strong understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety requirements in the Pharmaceutical industry.
* Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
* Minimum 2-3 years of engineering experience in a Pharmaceutical environment.
