Winthrop Technologies is a dedicated data centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. Winthrop specialises in providing turnkey data centre solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning. We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight. We are pleased to announce that we are hiring a Group Project & Commercial Accountant to join our team in Ballymount.
Responsibilities
* Stakeholder Reporting
o Issue weekly cost & revenue reports to senior stakeholders and provide analysis on any trends/movements
o Issue monthly cost reports to commercial teams across various sites within Ireland and Europe and provide analysis on any trends/movements
o Present monthly to senior stakeholders regarding any trends/movements on revenue/costs/margins
o Follow-up with ops teams with queries in submissions, clarify understanding of same
o Identify key discussion items for weekly / monthly review
o Escalate discussion points
* Cost Control & Budgeting
o Ability to monitor project spending, track costs and ensure financial discipline
o Partner and collaborate with various commercial teams across the business by providing insight and commentary on their projections
* Contract / Revenue Accounting
o Familiarity with revenue recognition, WIP (work in progress) and contract accounting
* Report Development / Enhancements
o Assist in the development of new reporting using PowerBI
