Health and Safety Professional
The company is seeking a skilled H&S Advisor to support the current Health, Safety, Quality (HSQ) Team across various projects, including residential, commercial, data centres, education, and healthcare.
* Report directly to the Senior Health & Safety Manager
* Maintain awareness among staff regarding Health and Safety policies and procedures
* Communicate with Senior Management and Site teams on Health and Safety requirements for site
* Conduct audits on-site and present results to senior management
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance Health & Safety practices on-site and in office
* Ensure proper maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) stocks, guaranteeing that staff are adequately equipped for site work
* Maintain promotion of Health and Safety on-site and its presence
* Perform method statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, operation and maintenance manuals etc
* Organize site visits, assessments, and reporting
* Provide information to support pre-qualification requirements for various clients
The ideal candidate should possess:
* A strong background in Health and Safety
* A full driving license
* An understanding of ISO Management Systems
* At least 3 years of experience in a relevant position
* Desirable: NEBOSH certification
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint
