Job Description
As a Principal Occupational Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a consistently effective safety management system across projects. Your mission will involve leading and growing a strong health and safety culture, creating a culture of continuous improvement, and attending senior leadership meetings to provide specialist advice and support.
You will be responsible for providing advice and support in the event of a significant health and safety incident, including investigating and reporting on the cause and effect, and issuing recommendations to prevent reoccurrence. Additionally, you will take the lead in dealing with external agencies in the event of a significant health and safety incident and use feedback and management information to improve policy, systems, and processes.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in occupational health and safety, Chartered/Certified Membership of IOSH, and Level 3 Award Education and Training (AET/PTLLS). They will also have successful experience in a management role on a construction site or FM facility and be able to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
