The role focuses on consultative selling of technology services, building long-term client relationships and contributing to the organisation's commercial growth strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business DevelopmentIdentify, qualify and pursue new revenue opportunities aligned with company growth objectives.Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans.Generate leads through networking, partnerships, industry engagement and targeted outreach.Lead the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through to negotiation and contract closure.Client Relationship ManagementBuild trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, including executive and technical stakeholders.Understand client business challenges and align service solutions accordingly.Expand existing accounts by identifying additional opportunities and increasing share of wallet.Commercial LeadershipDevelop high-quality proposals, presentations and commercial business cases.Manage pipeline forecasting, reporting and CRM activity to ensure visibility of opportunities.Collaborate with technical, delivery and marketing teams to position competitive solutions.Market & Industry InsightMonitor industry trends, competitor activity and emerging client needs.Provide feedback to leadership to support service development and go-to-market strategy.Experience & QualificationsEssential8+ years' experience in business development, sales or commercial roles within technology services, consulting, or managed services.Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and closing complex deals.Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience selling to senior executives.Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.Commercially focused with strong financial awareness.DesirableExperience selling IT services, digital transformation, cloud, cybersecurity or consulting solutions.Knowledge of enterprise and/or public sector procurement environments.Relevant business or technical degree (or equivalent experience).
