Science and Engineering Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced recruitment professional to join our Contract team in Galway. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully recruiting for contract roles within the Life Science and Engineering sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* New business development activities, including market mapping, prospecting clients, and maintaining consistent communication.
* Negotiation of rates and business terms with new clients.
* Pitching our recruitment service offering and presenting it to current and prospective clients.
* Maintaining a full and active pipeline of talent for speculative selling and job filling – candidate sourcing, screening, interview preparation, and coaching through the process.
* Influencing and guiding candidates and clients on trends across the Life Science and Engineering sectors.
* Candidate management and tracking, including all administration, payroll tasks, compliance, and reference checks.
* Attending networking events and promoting our company on social media channels.
* Achieving KPIs and targets and increasing market share.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

* Minimum 1 year's experience in a recruitment agency working on contract roles.
* Experience recruiting within a technical division but open to other industries.
* Experience managing temporary and contracting candidates.
* Strong business acumen and commerciality.
* Excellent communication skills.
* The ability to work autonomously and in a fast-paced environment.
