Maintenance Technician Craigavon Were working with a leading food manufacturer who supply big-name retailers across the UK.
Theyre growing steadily and now have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team in Craigavon.
The role Youll be part of a skilled engineering team carrying out a mix of reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, project work and site services support.
Its a busy, fast-paced environment where production is king, so youll need to be hands-on, adaptable, and confident troubleshooting issues to keep things running smoothly.
Whats on offer £19.60 per hour basic rate, reviewed annually Average annual earnings of £48k+ for standard rota (with realistic potential to earn £54k+ if you pick up extra hours/overtime) Time and a half overtime rates plus shift premiums 28 days holiday (3 fixed over Christmas, the rest flexible) Set Monday Friday daytime hours with occasional evening cover Night shifts and weekend days are planned fairly on a yearly rota spread out evenly across the team Additional weekend on-call allowance The team is tight-knit, supportive, and value the fact they dont run continental shifts.
The current rota gives everyone a fair share while keeping worklife balance intact.
What were looking for A multi-skilled background in maintenance/engineering Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG would be ideal A proactive approach able to handle both breakdowns and long-term PPM/projects Comfortable working safely in line with food safety and H&S requirements This is a solid long-term opportunity with excellent earning potential and the chance to work alongside a strong, experienced team.
