Job Overview
Due to the growing demands of our clients, we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Data Technicians in the Dublin region.
This role involves working on large multinational projects and providing comprehensive connectivity solutions.
Location: Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland
Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience
Core Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday-Friday, starting at 7:30 am
Responsibilities
Installing data cables (Cat 6, Cat 6A, Copper Cable, Fibre Optic cable, Multicore voice cable)
Installation of various sizes data comms cabinets & racks
Terminating and testing data cables
Fault finding and basic wiring problems
Installation of patch leads
Installation of switches and servers – racking and stacking
Taking ownership for areas/small sites, delegating tasks to trainee technicians
Progression & compliance reporting to Project Managers
Client communication, updates & feedback
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience terminating and testing Cat6, 6A, Cat 7 or Fibre Optic installations
Safepass and ability to travel to client sites
Ability to distinguish between colours, manual dexterity, basic literacy and numeracy
Ability to work safely at heights (minimum working height of 3 m)
Hardworking, flexible attitude to types of work, location and hours
Desirable: experience running data cabling installations on site
