Job Description
Who You'll Work With
We are seeking world-class Software Test Engineers to help develop our next-generation network management system.
The role requires knowledge of computer network design, configuration, and monitoring in various environments (data-center, enterprise, service provider).
You will be part of a design and test team working on state streaming, big data, and advanced analytics technologies.
Our goal is to help network operation teams manage large networks efficiently, overcoming challenges posed by traditional, time-consuming approaches.
Our solutions support on-premise and cloud environments, providing provisioning and telemetric solutions.
What You'll Do
Design and execute system-level test cases for our management system, focusing on scale and performance under strenuous conditions.
Collaborate with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, often using automation tools.
Write detailed bug reports, characterizing failures and their impact on customers.
Work with Technical Support to reproduce, debug, and resolve customer-reported issues.
Develop a strong passion for creating intuitive user interfaces (GUIs and APIs) that enhance user experience.
Qualifications
BSc in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 3+ years of experience, or MSc in telecommunications, computer networking, or related field.
Experience designing, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting IP and Ethernet networks.
Knowledge of 3 or more networking protocols/technologies such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRRP, LACP, STP, IP Multicast, ECMP, Port-Mirroring, QoS, VXLAN, MPLS, EVPN.
Experience with Linux and technologies like KVM, Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, HBase.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or TCL.
Experience with provisioning/deployment frameworks like Ansible, Puppet, Chef is a plus.
