Role And Responsibilities
* Work closely with and report to Project Manager and Senior Management on Civils projects.
* Take responsibility for managing day-to-day activities on-site throughout the project lifecycle, leading the Project Team to ensure the successful delivery of the project on time and within budget.
* Check and understand all drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors or omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner.
* Monitor construction quality regarding workmanship and materials, recording this on the Bretland document control system.
* Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations, and good building practices.
* Assist with managing all aspects of Health & Safety and Quality on site, ensuring compliance with the Company’s Quality and Safety Management Systems, including management of subcontractors, plant operators’ tickets, safe passes, and machinery certificates.
* Manage subcontractors on site.
* Responsible for completing and issuing daily/weekly project reports regarding progress updates on programme and subcontractors.
* Liaise with Client/Design Teams as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
* 10 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in delivering logistically challenging Civils projects.
* Full Irish Driving Licence.
* Certifications such as Safe Pass & Manual Handling; additional certifications like SLG, LUGS, MSIC are beneficial.
* Experience in Traffic & Pedestrian Management is advantageous but not essential.
* Good IT skills and computer literacy, proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
* Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset.
* Ability to coordinate multiple varied projects.
* Preferably based in the north Leinster / Midlands region.
